iPhone AppUSGS Digitial Elevation Relief Maps
This map is based on the 1 minute USGS elevation database which is available on CD-ROM. The data was read in and decoded into a WXP grid file and contoured with WXP's contour program using a 200 level gray shade. The image was was then put through a diagonal sculpture filter to obtain the 3D look. The images appear to have lighting from the northwest.
